Most of our images are created and owned by WildSnow staff, some are provided by outside contributors, and some are public domain. In the case of outside contributors of copyrighted images, we obtain permission and rights for publication from the creator, owner, or a third party who has been given transferable rights by the original owner (examples, in the case of public relations images, and some historical images without a living creator). Please know that if any of our images are stolen and used in other publications without permission, we will take necessary steps to defend our’s and our contributor’s property from theft.
