What is summer? Is that when everything gets green, women wear sun dresses, and you drink a lot of beer? Well I’m pretty sure you follow that up with a ski movie. I mean, call us crazy, but even guys who live for that afternoon mug of cold suds and still stutter at the sight of a woman in her summer outfit — we’ve got our breaking point. Come August, we fiend for la neige, the white winter bounty, backcountry skiing, coldsmoke, pow — THE GOODS.
That’s where Sweetgrass comes in– to get you back onto the couch after all that time you’ve had to play outside all in the name of getting you excited to get back OFF that couch, to go ski and have the sickest, most insane, committed winter of your life; to shred harder than you’ve ever shredded, to hike faster, go farther. Or to hike slower, to take more deep breaths when you’re backcountry skiing, and to remember that snow falls the same way in the Catskills as it does in Aspen and Chamonix: down; as frozen water you can slide on.
