A WildSnow Christmas Poem
It’s that time of year
to spread snow cheer
To all the ski tourers
far and near.
From our peaks to yours
and the snow fields between,
To the deep powder stashes
and dark evergreens.
A brand new year
awaits just beyond,
Let’s pray the snow crystals
finally bond,
And give us a chance
to venture in deep,
To those dreamy slopes
that are oh, so steep.
Until then it’s trees
and meadows to skip,
Such a fun time,
we’ll let out a yip.
So happy schussing to you
on this fine Christmas Day,
Happy schussing to all,
go out there and slay.
Happy holidays from the WildSnow crew!

Be Kind. Earn Your Turns. Stay Safe. Use Reason.
As another shoulda-been-a-nor’easter rains out our eastern seaboard snowpack I wonder what else will be taken from us in this most execrable of years.
If we don’t reverse this global warming we can all kiss this sport goodbye.
