Short Louis Dawson bio
Louis Dawson is a 53 year old "total outdoorsman" living in Carbondale Colorado. He hikes, climbs, hunts, skis, jeeps, snowmobiles, fishes, and bicycles in Colorado and throughout North America. Dawson specializes in writing about backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering, and is well known as the first man to ski down all 54 of Colorado's 14,000 foot peaks. He is the author of Dawson's Guides to Colorado's Fourteeners, several other books, and numerous magazine articles. Lou was inducted into the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame in 2005.
