Saturday's foray

Backcountry Powder near Marble, Colorado

Central Colorado still has a thin snowpack this early March of 2001, but it is based and there is pow to be had. Lots of tender avy conditions, however, so we're staying in the dense trees and avoiding roll-overs and pockets. No bowl skiing till spring for this kid. Lot's of fun to be had anyhow. Carl and I had a great day.
