In-vehicle 12-volt AA battery charging system

• Maha MH-C204F AA battery charger, available from Ham Radio Outlet
• Radio Shack "Universal Power Cord" 270-1528D (has built-in fuse in tip)
• Steel enclosure (small steel tool box or junk box with hinged lid, or box from commercial first-aid kit)
• 8 hour spring-wound electrical circuit timer (single pole, available at all major hardware outlets)
• Residential wiring box (plastic type) and cover, for mounting timer
• Styrofoam blocks from shipping carton (I got mine from a computer monitor box)
• Optional vent fan, Radio Shack 273-240
• Wiring grommets, double sided tape, electrical tape, etc.
• Female cigarette lighter socket designed for enclosed solder connection
