How does it compare to the Mammut CD (included with the Barryvox) that came out last year? That one is an interactive learning program that does a good job teaching about the difficulties of deep and multi burials for all beacons. Sounds like the BCA/TGR spends too much time on the easiest scenario. After all, any modern beacon is very simple for shallow, single burials so that doesn't need much explaining -- just do it. (BTW you point out a key feature of Arva and Ortovox beacons: can't wear it unless it's on.) How much does the DVD cost?
