Greg Hill is the multi-feet monster - but I'm sure you already knew that Lou.

The Traslin brothers, also BC boys, are also contenders. They did well in the first year (06) Rando Race the 27 km Spearhead Passage, which was part of the Backcountry Jam in late April in Whistler. I met one of them this last April in Pikas at the top of Whistler on the Friday of the Backcountry Jam weekend, I think it was Andy a really nice guy, after the uphill race from the village to the Roundhouse. He did the race not me, I was saving myself for the 10 km Citizens Race the next day.

Both Traslin brothers posted good results last year, but now the race is part of the International Circuit so these very lean Spaniards (male and female) and other Europeans turned up and blew everyone away. The Spearhead Passage was won this year by a Slovakian in a time, which as I recall, was something like 20 minutes less that last years times.

Those races are a load of fun, the company, the vibe and the schwag. As a senior citizen I'm never going to sign up for the long races but I'll keep doing the 10 km until my knees give out or my enthusiasm wanes, whichever comes first.
