Wall to Wall Floor Mats — Ten Minute Truck Mod

I’m sitting here working on a technical binding blog, what’s that clunking noise outside the door? Ah, the UPS man dropping off more swag? Not quite. I bought these Husky floor liners for our Silverado to prevent the dread swampfloor syndrome, as in when your truck thaws out in spring and starts smelling like something under a log in the Okie Fenokee swamp. Spill a biggie Coke from Wendys? It’ll stay in the pan shaped liner as a pond to float those fries you dropped — just dump out at the next gas stop (keep the fries if you’re still hungry). No more swampfloor. Five minutes to order and five to install, a ten minute mod!

The Husky liners are actually lighter weight than my original heavy duty floor mats, and nicely molded to fit the Silverado’s factory floor contours. Perfect for muddy backcountry skiing boots.

Driver side liner installed. Worst thing about this is it didn’t require any tools. But I like ‘em anyway.

The liners came from our affiliate Performance Products. We’ve bought a few things from these guys to test them out. They ship fast and have reasonable prices. Don’t want to get too commercial here, but these guys really do seem to do the job and truck mods are fun, so here goes (affiliate of course, shopping them helps support WildSnow.com):

Hey Lou, I’m hoping you have some feedback on my query regarding the Silvretta Pure KIDZ model (comment # 5 on that post of yours).
    Thanks!

My truck is a Ranger Edge edition that comes with plastic on the bottom so you dont have to put in floor mats but I did anyways.
