5-Point Film Festival April 26-29
Just a reminder to help out our friends at 5-Point Film Festival: The event will be held in Carbondale, Colorado (WildSnow HQ city) from April 26 through 29. This is a film festival that attempts, and usually succeeds, in passing beyond adventure porn flicks into the realm of the spirit. Lots of movers and shakers attend. So much more than just watching films that make you tired. Recommended.
More info at 5 (Five) Point website, and here in newspaper article.

hi lou, i think you mean april 26-29 (not march). i highly recommend catching the festival’s friday night presentation with jon turk and erik boomer. they are quite the characters. here’s a story about their ellesmere island adventure (somewhat ski related): http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/18/sports/arctic-adventure-a-1500-mile-trip-by-sea-kayak.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
Thanks Tim, you caught that just a few minutes after I posted, and a few seconds before I fixed! I guess I was in a pre jetlag state of mind or something (grin), am now totally jetlagged so things should go better.
