Mexico, or Leadville Colorado?
![]() |
| During a recent trip to Leadville, Colorado my friend Chris from CODE4×4 turned me on to this roadside burrito stand. Highly recommended! Easily spotted on the main drag at the north end of town. If you’re on a fourteener bagging expedition, 4-wheeling or cycling, they’ve got the goods for your lunch. It’s unknown if they’ll stay open during Leadville’s arctic winter, but let’s hope they do so we can stop by when we’re on backcountry skiing trips. Tell them you saw ‘em on WildSnow.com — perhaps they’ll sponsor us with a complimentary taco. Lo Bueno! |

| And here is what my motorhead friends recommended for a warm lunch. Manifold burritos. Que Bueno! |

Nice tip! I’ll definitaly check back about that backcountry skiing trip in Leadville. Is the stand anywhere on the way to Ski Cooper?
The taco truck is always parked across the street from Safeway/TrueValue in Leadville. Roughly 12 miles from Ski Cooper.
3 tacos for 4 bucks…. and they sell keifer across the street at safeway for even more in car entertainment!
Hey, when you guys were in Leadville, did you stay at the Silver King Inn & Suites? I thought I saw Chris there one morning.
