Nice gear list! Just wondering about the camera case, can you identify it?
I'm looking for a chest case for a 5D MkII for mountaineering.

As far as I know our whole group's clothing choices worked well for the cold summit day. Don't remember if Caleb wore his down under or over his shell pants. In my case, I wore the down pants under my shell pants. That combo was a bit warm lower down (we did summit from 14,000 camp in one push), but I had side zips on everything and they got used.

how did the WM down pants do as an outerwear piece on Denali? Were they warm enough, or did you wish you had a bit more insulation?

Thanks.

I’ve also found that leather jackets and gloves not designed for riding allow too much cold air in. Thank you :)

SB,

The board shorts go under the long undies. A little bulky but not so much as to be a problem.

Combiner,

Generally I am a size large in most layers, though sometimes I will sport a medium on base layer items, really depends on the particular item. I wear a large in the TNF Himalayan Parka. Yeah both the Himalayan and Absolute Zero have some weatherproofing, but the TNF offering also has some strategically placed Climashield synthetic insulation which will be advantageous when things get wet.
