Trooper Traverse 2006 – Complete

Hi all! We’re back from an incredible five days backcountry skiing on the Trooper Traverse from Leadville to Aspen, Colorado. Our adventures were many, including catastrophic breakage and ultimate McGiver lashup of a Silvretta Pure binding, a frigid 9 degree night, fun, and of course a dash of suffering to build character. I’ll file reports over the next few days. For now (so I can get much needed rest):

Toasting at the J-Bar
At the Jerome Hotel Bar, toasting the completion of our Trooper Traverse with famed Aspen Cruds, 10th Mountain soldier’s recovery drink of choice (and a milkshake in the case of the kid).

Glad you made it back and enjoyed it even with binding destruction.
