April Powder — Marble, Colorado
![]() |
| Lynn Sanson backcountry skiing today near Marble, Colorado. It snowed about a foot up there in the past 24 hours, and looks truly fine with a nice late season cake icing. As happens in April, the snow was changing from pow to muck while we watched, but we got in a few turns before it turned. Much will be breakable crust by tomorrow or the next day, then perhaps cycle again as we get more in what looks to be a regular series of storms coming our way. |

We skied Mount Justice today, the east aspect directly from the summit and the north face. Both were awesome, compact powder you could lay big turns into. Lots of wet activity on the sunny stuff. Can’t beat the April powder!
