Jefferson, the reason I didn't put up the URL is simple: it's not on his business card and no one ever told me it existed. So thanks for pointing the website out, even if it's a bit minimalist. As for when Woody's is open, we never had a problem with finding it open when we expected, sorry to hear you did. As for phones, since cell phones don't work in Marble, that makes things a bit tougher though of course still doable with some effort to use landlines. I hope they get it together, and imagine they probably will as things progress. I can't imagine all the details one has to organize to open and run a restaurant -- especially one so far from basic services...

The Whoa Nellie Deli gets more traffic at one lunch in July than Woody's does all week. They are not nor will they ever be peer restaurants.

And thank God for that, Marble doesn't need more than what Woody has put together. Lou, if you're going to pimp his place why not put up the URL?

His phone numbers are a waste of time, I don't think even Woody knows when he will or will not be open. Folks in Crystal have given up trying to give Woody their custom at lunch because he's never open when they come by even at the hours he has posted on the door. And that's okay, too, if Woody didn't keep Marble hours I'm sure his place would lose some of its charm.

A Marble kitchen serving pulled packrat for $6.- would be good enough, Woody's grub is a treasure. Woody's is worth the wait. So I'm told! Yet another reason to look forward to summer.

Matt, glad the wax helped. We found it on the door handle. With Woody's so near, it was hard for Lou to convince me to do another lap. But he did and the snow was even better. And after that, I happily enjoyed the chocolate cake without a single guilty thought. Hope to see you up there again
