Backcountry Skiing Avalanche Education
Are you in central Colorado? Tomorrow night (Friday) you can attend a free season-starter avalanche safety seminar in Aspen, Colorado. The annual event will include an introduction to the new Roaring Fork Avalanche Center. Here at WildSnow world headquarters near Aspen, we’re excited about our new avalanche center. It’s been ludicrous over past years, living with one of the most dangerous snowpacks in the world, yet having avalanche conditions reporting that fell far short of that offered in areas such as Utah’s Wasatch. Sounds like that is going to change, and we plan on doing everything we can to help.
