I remember skiing up there years ago and even back then the patrol had a list they kept of skiers who wore beacons. As much as any place, they're the ones who legitimized the idea of wearing a beacon "inbounds." Sad it didn't help in this case. Latest tragedy at Jackson Hole, the guy was wearing a beacon.
