edit for my last post, I am talking about the BD factor not method,

and some info on me

I have been skiing for 20 years now. started out skiing with the family then got into racing when I was about 6-7 raced all through High school. when I was about 10 my dad started to get me and my brother into back country skiing and touring. this was great and by the time i was 12 i was still racing but also competing in free skiing events and mainly charging big mountain type terrain. this is were i find my self skiing most of the time now. most of my tours are short 1-2 day trips usually having one objective line.

If i was to compare myself to a big name skier i wold say that I look up to Chris Davenport and his style of ski mountaineering/ big mountain skiing

I just want to give you my little review,

BD Factors rock!!!! I have now spent, 5 days touring in them and they work well in the walk mode, there a little heavy but they are very comfortable. I can say that for me they are the most comfortable boots I have had out of the box. Other then molding the liner I have done nothing to them and still no blisters.

Now the best part of these boots is how they ski on the way down. growing up racing and then switching to competitive freestyle and big mountain riding, i am used to real stiff, boots that are really forward. I can say that with out a drought that the Factors compete with any downhill free ride boot on the market, they are stiff in every direction and have great edge grip when ripping the big gs turns. I took them out today on Whistler/Blackcomb and even with some wide soft skies i was able to hold it together on the boiler plate is that was out there in spots. Having used my Lange 120s (the baby blue lange) for the last few years doing mainly big mountain free riding after today they are going to hung up and I will be using the factors for every thing now from touring to sled skiing to big mountain, an even in the park.. the final test will just be if a light free ride boot (compared to most DH free ride boots) can last the test of time.
