Backcountry skiing Colorado powder.

Here’s what we’ve got to show…. Unbelievable, it snowed at least another foot last night in the Elk Mountains of central Colorado. We were there, now we’re back in Carbondale at 5Points film festival. Ho ho ho. That’s Louie skiing this morning, photo by Jason Caudill, click photo to enlarge.

    Hi Louie,

Are those the 08/09 FT10′s? Just interested how they compare to the “old” woodcore FT10.

    Nice picture!

    AJ,

Those are the first model, (2006 I think). I did ski the new ones in Europe, and did not notice much of a difference in terms of the skiing. However, the ones I skied had a reinforced plate under the binding area, so they were a little heavier.
