One other great thing about the Motto jacket is the waterproof pocket it has that goes over your butt. The opening is relatively small, but the pocket inside is quite large. This make's this jacket a wonderful piece for cycling as well as skiing, with the pitzips and rear cycling pocket, it is really a versatile jacket. I took the hood off the first day and haven't put it back since, I do kind of wish it wasn't so large to fit around a ski helmet. Stlll, highly recommended.

Jesse, thanks for your concern. I assure you we deal with our gear in ways we feel are ethical, responsible and not frivolous.

I'm wondering what you do with all the samples you receive. I sure hope you're donating all that stuff and not just passing it out to other folks like yourself who really don't need it. Not only are you acquiring masses of coats, pants, backpacks, etc. that likely go unused most the year, but you're contributing to the problem of overconsumtion just so you can write about a product on your blog. I enjoy your blog and respect you for your mountaineering accomplishments, I just hope you're being sensible with all the stuff you have. Please donate it to people and/or kids who need it.
